Have you thought about what this year could bring? Personally I'm not a  big fan of resolutions as I feel there is an element of pressure to them  and can be perceived as failure if they're not achieved. I prefer to  set intentions of how I'd like to live my life, how I'd like to feel and  what is important to incorporate daily. Have you thought about what this year could bring? If you haven't done it yet here  are a few suggestions of questions you might like to ask yourself to  discover what you truly want to manifest for yourself this year. <br /><em style=""><strong style=""> How do I want to feel?</strong> <em style="">By  focusing on the feelings you want to have you'll be more likely to make  decisions that will draw you to experiences that bring these feelings</em> <br /></em><strong style=""> How can I better nurture myself?</strong> <em style="">Rather  than setting a resolution to exercise more or lose x number of  kilograms or quite a particular habit, by making your intention to  nurture yourself you will approach this with love and compassion for  yourself rather than making it something you have to do. And if you're  like most of us we definitely don't need to add more to the to-do list!</em> <br /><em style=""><strong style=""> What do I want to have more of in my life?</strong> <em style="">This  may be related to the first question as far as feelings go, but it may  also be that you would like to have more fun, more time to spend with  your kids or more experiences in nature</em> <br /></em><strong style=""> What really makes me light up?</strong> <em style="">Bring  to your attention what you feel passionate or excited about. Maybe you  like to discover new places but overseas travel isn't possible. Can you  get out and explore more of your local area/region that you haven't been  to before?</em> <br /><em style=""><strong style=""> What fears do I wish to overcome?</strong> <em style="">Rather  than shying away from or hiding our fears, naming them and bringing  light to them can help us highlight where they are holding us back from  living a fulfilled life. It will also allow you to be aware when they  come up. And awareness is the first step in being able to make a change.  When they do ask yourself what it is trying to tell you</em> <br /></em><strong style=""> What did I learn last year that I can build on?</strong> <em style="">If  you haven't done so reflecting on the year that just ended can be a  great opportunity to practice gratitude and also notice just how far you  have come since January 2014</em><br /><span style=""></span><br /><span style=""></span> 2014  was a very challenging year for me. Some of you may be aware that my  father passed away at the end of July, which is one of the reasons I  haven't sent a newsletter in quite a while. On the eve of the new year I  spent some time giving gratitude for all that 2014 brought me. Even  though the loss of my father was incredibly heartbreaking, I was able to  look back and smile with a full heart at what I learned through that  experience and the times I had with him.
