Although here in the southern hemisphere we consider autumn the start of March it doesn't truly become autumnal until the equinox which occurred on March 20. Did you notice the air change? It became cooler, dryer and crisper. Did you feel a change? Do you feel you need more water as your skin and lips become dryer? Have you felt the energy change to be more introspective and quiet in comparison with the outward, full expression of summer? Have you felt the urge to clear out your environment? When we watch nature it gives us many clues on how we are best to spend our energy. Trees are preparing for the stillness of winter by shedding the leaves they no longer need. Nature has a beautiful way of gracefully letting go of the old, rather than trying to cling to any remnants of what was in order to avoid feeling the loss or guilt of letting it go. Now is the perfect time to spend some time reflecting on what no longer truly serves us and provides value to your life and can be let go of.
