Acupuncture Point: Heart 7

Heart 7 is a wonderful point to use to help with sleep disorders.

Uses:
* Insomnia
* Sleep disturbance
* Calming emotions and the spirit
* Anxiety, fear, sadness
* Anything related to the heart - palpitations, heart rate, pounding heart
* Memory
* Focus and concentration/hyperactivity

Location:
The point is on the little finger end of the wrist crease in the depression next to the tendon.

Rub the point for 30 seconds then gently hold it for 5-10 minutes. You can use the point on either hand as often as you need.

Acupoints: Lung 9 and Lung 10

There are a lot of coughs and colds going around at the moment. If you have a cough there are some simple acupressure points you can use to help bring some relief.

For a productive cough use the point on the wrist (Lung 9). It is on the wrist crease in the depression next to the bone.

For a dry cough use the point closer to the thumb (Lung 10). It is half way along the (metacarpal) bone where the skin changes colour.

They can both be used for a sore throat too. To use either of these points rub them for 30 secs then hold gently
